Registered Nurse /Registered Practical Nurse

Market Mall IDA Pharmacy is looking for a Registered Nurse /Registered
Practical Nurse (12-month term) to join our team.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

 Nurse (Injection Certified) – Flu and Covid Immunizations during the flu
season
 Experience with immunizations/public health/IM injections
 Triaging patients and assisting with telemedicine appointments
 Injections (IM, SUBQ, Intradermal)
 Conduct patient assessments
 Provide patient education, follow-up, and triage support
 Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
 Assist with care coordination, medication management, and lab result
follow-ups
 Monitor patient portals and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
 Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
 Uphold best practices and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
 Energetic and good people skills
 All supplies will be provided for immunization

Technical Skills:

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as
independently

Education and Experience:

 Registered Nurse (RN) License or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) License
 In Good Standing with the College of Nurses
 Previous experience in a clinic preferred
 Advanced Life Support Certification an asset
 Must have own malpractice insurance
