ViVE to Champion the Role of Nurses in Healthcare Delivery
The upcoming ViVE 2024 event, powered by HLTH and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) will champion the role of nurses in healthcare for the first time. Nurses @ ViVE will celebrate nurses through panel discussions, networking events and scholarships at ViVE in Los Angeles, February 25-28.
“Nurses, the backbone of healthcare, are a crucial part in the discussion on how we’re shaping the future of healthcare,” said Amy Eckenroth, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with HLTH. “They’re often the leaders in implementing new technologies in patient care, which gives them a unique insight that has earned them a seat at the leadership table. At HLTH, we honor and support nurses, that’s why we’re proud to debut our new program, Nurses at ViVE, to create a lasting partnership that makes HLTH and ViVE a home for their invaluable contributions to healthcare innovation.”
Michael Hasselberg, one of the speakers for Nurses @ ViVE, is the Chief Digital Health Officer with University of Rochester Medicine and also serves as Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Clinical Nursing, and Data Science, University of Rochester. He pointed out that nurses are at the heart of healthcare delivery.
“In the face of unprecedented challenges in healthcare, nurses have always risen to the occasion and demonstrated resilience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to their patients. Nursing is the heart of healthcare — not just as caregivers, but also as innovators, transforming patient care with our creativity and ingenuity.”
